Ministries
Find your place at Cabot Church of Christ through one of our many ministries.
Children’s Ministry
- Children’s Bible Hour (CBH) – Children’s Bible Hour is offered at both morning and evening services for children 3 years old through 2nd grade. At each service, children are allowed to exit the auditorium during the song before the lesson to attend a Bible lesson on their own level.
- Kids for Christ (KFC) – KFC is our pre-teen group (4th-6th grades) which meets approximately once a month for various activities. The goal of KFC is to promote involvement, friendships, and a love for service and one another. We believe the development of strong moral character and close peer relationships is imperative to our pre-teen kids.
- Bright Kids – We desire to be an inviting church that is intentional about finding ways to worship among, mutually support, and serve alongside people with disabilities and their families in fellowship. We desire to be a venue where every person is able to come worship, strengthen their faith, and deepen their understanding of Christ our Lord. This ministry is led by Kelby Bolling.
Youth Ministry
The youth ministry serves as an aid to the spiritual growth and development of the teenagers at Cabot Church of Christ. The youth ministry coordinates many events throughout the year to help the teens grow closer to Christ and each other. The ultimate goal of the youth ministry is to empower teens with the knowledge and awareness to take a proactive role in transforming their lives into the likeness of Christ. The youth ministry is led by our youth minister, Tyler Vesperman.
Young at Heart
The Young at Heart group is for those 55 years and older. It is a group of approximately 45 seniors that like to be active. They meet on the third Friday of each month and share a pot luck dinner. After dinner they have a game night where they play dominos and other board games. They greatly love the fellowship and have really learned how to take care of one another. The goal of the Keenager’s group is to meet the physical and spiritual needs of our seniors by encouraging active participation in other church ministries. This ministry is led by Chuck and Sharon Coburn.
